Why the parking lot setup matters
There’s a version of tailgating that feels like a chore — you show up with a bag of chips and a cooler full of canned drinks and wait for gates to open. That’s fine. Then there’s the version where someone in the row behind you is running a charcoal kettle, the cooler has actual ice in it three hours after they set up, the speaker is loud enough to carry over the crowd, and there’s a pop-up shade with chairs underneath it.
