Wireless Meat Thermometer (Dual Probe)

I got Matt a wireless meat thermometer for Father's Day last year, and I'll be honest — I wasn't sure it would land. He already had a regular instant-read, and he seemed fine with it. But he's used this thing every single weekend since we opened it, so I'd call that a win.

The big upgrade with a wireless dual-probe thermometer versus a basic instant-read is that you can walk away from the grill. Range varies by model — most good Bluetooth ones give you 200–300 feet, which covers our backyard and into the kitchen. WiFi models extend further but cost more. For a standard backyard setup, Bluetooth is plenty.

For the price range ($29–$45 for the well-reviewed models), this is firmly in the "actually makes sense" category. Not a gadget that sits in a drawer — Matt legitimately uses it every week from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and then some.
