What August actually looks like with five kids
We have been through enough back-to-school seasons to know what we’re actually solving for. It’s not the backpack or the pencils — those sort themselves out. It’s the lunchbox that leaks through the bag. The water bottle they lose in the first week. The thirty minutes between school pickup and dinner where everyone is in the car talking at once and the backseat looks like it was searched by security.
